QA Testautomation-Engineer (m/w/d)

As a QA Test Automation Engineer, you will work on innovative projects, optimize processes, and build a modern, future-proof QA setup with the team. Your tasks include planning, performing, and documenting automated and manual tests, developing and maintaining end-to-end tests, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Plan, perform, and document automated and manual tests
• Develop and maintain end-to-end tests with Playwright and TypeScript
• Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Test hardware and software (SuT), including devices and embedded devices, and configure hardware devices for realistic test setups
• Develop specialized test hardware together with the testing team to reliably test physical interfaces
• Use AI tools actively in your daily work, evaluate their usefulness in the QA area, and decide where automation makes sense and where manual testing offers the greatest value
• When finding errors, create precise descriptions in the ticket system - understandable, reproducible, and helpful for the development team
• Enjoy taking care of the development and maintenance of test environments, including servers and test data, as well as possibly Docker
• Support product management in the development of acceptance criteria and test scenarios early in the requirements process with your own ideas
