Job Description
We are seeking a Mining Engineer to join our Wilpinjong Mine in Mudgee, NSW, AU. The role involves short-term Load & Haul scheduling and design at our open-cut mining operation. You will be responsible for promoting site safety, environmental, health, and quality of mining activities, and collaborating with operations, drill & blast, and geology teams.
Requirements
- A degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Experience with Mine planning and Design software (exposure to Vulcan would be well regarded)
- Experience in open cut mining operations within the coal industry (experience outside of coal will be considered)
