The Tax Manager is responsible for ensuring full compliance with all state and local tax requirements impacting our operating entities and managed hotels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience filing sales and use tax returns
- Prior experience with hotel occupancy, hospitality, and other industry-specific taxes strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with financial accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills required.
- Strong customer service orientation with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with executives, team members, and external partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- High level of initiative with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively across all levels of the organization.
