AV Technician (Travel)

We are seeking a capable A/V Technician to join an on-site installation team at China Lake, CA for a short-term contract (12 weeks). The ideal candidate will have mid-level experience and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, performing physical installation of AV systems and supporting technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of mid-level experience
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds independently and occasionally heavier loads with assistance
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach for extended periods during installation activities
• Must be comfortable working on ladders, lifts, or scaffolding at heights up to 20 feet
• Requires manual dexterity to handle small components and operate hand and power tools safely
• Ability to work in varied environments, including office spaces, mechanical rooms, industrial facilities, and military installations
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Applicants must successfully complete a background investigation and have no felony convictions, with no more than one misdemeanor on record
• DoD Secret clearance preferred
