Postdoctoral Scholar

Two postdoctoral scholar positions are immediately available in the lab of Dr. Reyad Elbarbary at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. The lab's primary focus is to identify roles of non-coding RNAs as well as RNA processing mechanisms in bone regeneration, and to define molecular mechanisms that underpin impaired bone repair in different disease models including obesity/type 2 diabetes.

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant field
• Strong publication record
• Significant experimental training in molecular biology and biochemistry
• Experience in genetic mouse models, bone biology, obesity or diabetes murine models, immunology, or bioinformatics is a plus
