Postdoctoral Scholar

The laboratory of Associate Professor Joseph Cotruvo, Jr. in the Department of Chemistry at The Pennsylvania State University seeks a postdoctoral research position focused on rare earth element biochemistry and technology development.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in f-element chemistry, protein biochemistry, bioinorganic spectroscopy, chemical biology and molecular biology methods, and chemical engineering
• Recently received or scheduled to receive a Ph.D. in an area broadly relevant to the research program
• Highly self-motivated and able to lead individual projects and contribute to collaborative research efforts
