Job Description
A Postdoctoral Scholar position is available in the Zarnescu laboratory at Penn State College of Medicine, in Hershey, PA, to research molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases using Drosophila, cell based models and patient tissues.
Requirements
- PHD in a relevant field
- Background in neuronal cell culture, cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry and Drosophila neurobiology, genetics and behavior
- Bioinformatics and statistics skills (e.g., R, pathway analyses)
- Experience mentoring students
