Postdoctoral Scholar (Chemistry Department)

The laboratory of Associate Professor Mark Hedglin in the Chemistry Department at The Pennsylvania State University seeks to fill a postdoctoral research position to work in the areas of molecular biology, biochemistry and biophysical chemistry.

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry (or an equivalent doctorate in an appropriate field)
• Focus on cryogenic electron microscopy (Cryo-EM) and/or single molecule optical tweezers-fluorescence microscopy
• Training/expertise in expressing and purifying recombinant proteins from the baculovirus/insect cell expression system
