Die Setter

Consider joining the Pennex family as a Die Setter in our Wellsville, PA location. The Die Setter is an entry level position that prepares and sets up tooling from the extrusion schedule to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• Ensure enough dies are in the die ovens at each press based upon the production schedule.
• Transfer dies to and from inventory system.
• Recycle failed dies quickly.
• Place dies in caustic solution to clean them of aluminum residue.
• Assist with die flow movement for staging and preparation.
• Utilize a crane system for loading and unloading of caustic tanks.
• Operate a caustic system when needed.
• Disassemble dies and rinse.
• Operate automatic media blasting machine.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
