Consider joining the Pennex family as a Supervisor, Extrusion at our Leetonia, OH location. The Supervisor, Extrusion oversees the Press Team and develops and implements production plans and schedules to ensure efficiency. This position leads and supervises, develops, and disciplines team members.
Requirements
- Supervision and development of Press Team Apprentices, Press Team, Press Operators, and Press General Foreman positions.
- Leadership: Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Planning: Production planning and scheduling for the Press Team.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance or engineering, to coordinate overall operations.
- Quality Control: Monitor and audit quality control measures and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and quality throughout the team.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to and enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Identify and report any potential safety hazards or equipment issues. Maintain a clean work environment.
- Documentation: Review production reports, work orders, job specifications, and quality control records, generated by the Press Team to ensure that the documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Analysis: Analyze the Press Team data and documentation to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes as necessary.
- Communication: Keep open clear line of communication to leadership and direct reports.
- Motivation: Team member and culture.
- Time Management: Ensure that all duties and projects are completed timely and effectively.
