This role demands a specialist who performs duties with little or no supervision and in a timely manner. Requirements
- Diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair all series of motor truck and trailer equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance services
- Use hand tools and power tools to diagnose and repair equipment
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts
- Specialize in repairing and troubleshooting major components (engine, transmissions, differentials)
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, battery checks, lubrication)
- Perform tasks with little or no supervision
- Use test instruments and diagnostic equipment.
