Licensed Diesel Truck Technician/Mechanic I

Penske is seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Diesel Truck Technician/Mechanic I to diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair all series of motor truck and trailer equipment. This role demands a specialist who performs duties with little or no supervision and in a timely manner. Requirements

• Diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair all series of motor truck and trailer equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance services
• Use hand tools and power tools to diagnose and repair equipment
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts
• Specialize in repairing and troubleshooting major components (engine, transmissions, differentials)
• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, battery checks, lubrication)
• Perform tasks with little or no supervision
• Use test instruments and diagnostic equipment.
