The Referral & Diagnostic Coordinator supports patient care by coordinating with outside entities, medical specialists, and diagnostic facilities. They work as a member of a care team to assess and manage patient health needs, communicate with patients, and implement improvements in workflow and patient care.
Requirements
- High School or GED, Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- One year working in a medical office, customer service and general office experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Sharp attention to detail
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to manage time and prioritize
- Adequate computer skills, including data entry, and familiarity with electronic records
- Strong Ability to research and make sound logical decisions
