Job Description
Peraton is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join their Annapolis Junction, MD team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems, conducting vulnerability assessments, and providing network and server security services. The position requires a strong understanding of SOA and experience with Ubuntu and RHEL8.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- 15+ years’ experience as a System Administrator
- 5+ years of additional SA experience (BS degree = 20 years)
- Demonstrated experience in Linux environments
- Working knowledge of system administration interdependencies within SOA
- Experience with Ubuntu and RHEL8
- DOD 8570 compliance
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Ability to review mission performance and analyze complex problems
- Extensive collaboration with project personnel
