Job Description
Peraton is seeking a Network Administration, Lead Associate to support mission-critical Cyber professionals defending the nation's security. This role involves supporting the administration and maintenance of enterprise network systems, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring reliable network performance and security. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience, with prior experience administering network devices.
Requirements
- Perform daily administration of network systems (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Monitor network performance and troubleshooting connectivity issues
- Maintain network diagrams, configuration records, and change logs
- Experience administering network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and basic network segmentation
- Ability to apply patches, updates, and configuration changes
- Understanding of VPN configuration and remote access solutions
- Familiarity with wireless network configuration and troubleshooting
