Job Description
Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer to lead edge information technologies and methodologies for leading-edge network connectivity services, including architecture, engineering, integration, deployment, and security. The role involves designing and testing network systems, conducting cost/benefit analyses, and advising network users. This position is part of a dynamic team providing comprehensive solutions for the global enterprise and systems modernization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering science, or related discipline
- 12 years of IT related experience
- 5 years of additional IT experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Expertise in IP routing, addressing, IP Multicast, IP QOS, and IP encryptors
- Experience with WAN boundary integration
- Ability to develop new network architectures and conduct testing
- Active/current TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph
