Job Description
This position is for a Satellite Operations Engineer for a large contract supporting a cutting-edge and innovative space program.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- BS or MS degree in relevant Science, Technology, or Engineering
- 12+ Years of work experience in a relevant field, ideally on satellite programs (government or commercial)
- Expert at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics, succinctly capturing issues for the customer and proving analysis and recommendations
- Ability to work independently and with a team; operating effectively with development contractor, SETA, FFRDC, and government teammates
- Polished communicator (written / verbal) with impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgement
- Master at collaboration, coordination, and consensus building
- Ability to anticipate and proactively address customer requirements with little to no supervision; ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables
- Knowledge of orbital mechanics and utility of different orbits
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment
Benefits
- Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000
