Job Description
Peraton is seeking Summer 2026 Software Engineer Interns to join their Internal Research & Development (IRAD) program in Herndon, VA, West Lafayette, IN or Blacksburg, VA. The role involves contributing to advanced research projects in areas like communications, space, cybersecurity, and defense, with opportunities to acquire certifications in AWS.
Requirements
- HS Diploma and some advanced level training.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Have completed progress toward a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational experience in an object-oriented programming language, preferably in Java and software engineering processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies.
- Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player.
