Job Description
Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington is seeking a PRN Activity Therapist to design and implement therapeutic recreation programs. This role combines clinical expertise with creative engagement to help patients achieve treatment goals through meaningful activities, and offers a chance to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. The therapist will focus on assessment, intervention, and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or Occupational Therapy preferred)
- Knowledge of psychiatric care and mental illness
- Strong group facilitation skills
- Excellent documentation abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts (including evenings and holidays)
- Crisis intervention training (preferred)
