Job Description
Permutive is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the design, implementation, and operation of their infrastructure platform. This role involves collaborating with engineering and product teams, driving technical decisions, and overseeing security processes. The team requires a senior leader comfortable with mentoring smaller teams and prioritizing work-life balance.
Requirements
- 5+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, security, SRE, or platform engineering roles
- 2+ years in a people leadership role managing engineers
- Strong track record building, scaling, and operating complex distributed systems in cloud environments
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP
- Proficient in infrastructure languages (e.g. Go, Python)
- Solid experience building CI/CD pipelines and automating deployment workflows
- Proficiency in monitoring, logging, tracing tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
