Job Description
This Embedded Software Engineer role involves building embedded software running on a chip (SoC) for AI. The company, Persimmons, is focused on building the infrastructure for AI and is seeking individuals to drive innovation in hardware and software. The engineer will focus on optimization, collaboration, and leadership.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in developing software for multi-core systems
- Knowledge of multi-core architectures, including resource locking and workload partitioning
- Familiarity with hardware architectures and optimization (memory hierarchies, systolic arrays, DMA engines, GPU-style parallelism)
- Experience with early board bring-up, low-level debugging, and using JTAG
- Strong C/C++ skills
- BS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
- Capability to achieve objectives under tight deadlines
- Deep understanding of technology and passion for the work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and adaptability skills
- Experience executing tasks while managing competing priorities
