Job Description
Dispatch is seeking a Project Developer BESS Germany (m/f/d) to develop new large-scale battery projects. The role involves identifying opportunities, securing strategic options, obtaining permits, and applying for subsidies, ultimately guiding projects to financial close. You'll build relationships with stakeholders, navigate the permitting landscape, and contribute to the company's growth in the German market, requiring frequent travel within Germany and to Amsterdam. The ideal candidate is passionate about renewable energy, thrives in a startup environment, and possesses a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of proven experience in project development
- At least 2 years of specialized experience in the energy projects, smart grids or battery energy storage systems within the German market
- A understanding of the German energy sector, including grid connection procedures, permitting requirements and market dynamics
- Fluency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to set up and maintain lasting relationships
