Associate Global Sourcing Manager

Petco is seeking an Associate Global Sourcing Manager to create a healthier, brighter future for pets, pet parents, and people. This role will involve developing and implementing the global sourcing strategy, managing vendors, and negotiating with suppliers.

Requirements

• Interact professionally and effectively with all professional contacts
• Prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
• Travel to work with vendors, manufacturers, and to attend industry trade shows
• Analyze data to determine the appropriate course of action
• Develop and implement global sourcing strategy
• Manage vendors and negotiate with suppliers
• Research and analyze cost, capacity, and delivery history of manufacturers
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and margin enhancement
• Manage ongoing vendors' performance
• Monitor cost and availability trends of key cost factors
