Senior Buyer - PL#62490

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the company’s objectives, optimizing costs, and ensuring timely, high-quality acquisition of materials and services.

Requirements

• Develop and execute procurement strategies that support business goals and project requirements.
• Identify cost-saving and value-optimization opportunities without compromising quality or reliability.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and contractors.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly and implement improvement initiatives.
• Stay informed on market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to mitigate risk and leverage opportunities.
• Lead negotiations for goods and services to secure favorable terms, pricing, and conditions.
• Collaborate with legal and other departments to review and finalize contractual agreements as required.
• Implement and maintain ethical sourcing practices.
• Track and report on cost savings, cost avoidance, and procurement KPIs.
• Manage day-to-day procurement activities, including issuing RFQs, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Lead or support the evaluation and contract award process.
• Facilitate meetings with key vendors and maintain accurate records and minutes.
• Act as a liaison between engineering consultants, contractors, site operations, and technical teams.
• Maintain agreement tracking and other reporting tools to ensure transparency and accountability.
