Service Technician

The Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and servicing mechanical and electrical systems and components of commercial transport trucks. At Peterbilt Pacific, we aim to conduct our business with integrity, excellence, productivity, and a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Completion of secondary school
• Completion of a four-year Truck and Transport Technician Apprenticeship
• 4+ years of work experience
• Red Seal Trade Certification
• Valid inspection ticket to perform commercial vehicle inspections (asset)
• Valid class 1 OR 3 Driver’s License with airbrake endorsement (asset)
• Superior mechanical aptitude with an in-depth knowledge of heavy duty truck repairs
• Strong computer skills
• Detail oriented
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Strong personal organizational skills
