With engaged and competent support from our team of TFAs/assistants, our veterinarians ensure the well-being of our patients around the clock. Our modern-equipped clinic (including 2 operating rooms, endoscopy room, X-ray, laboratory, rehabilitation area with treadmill and aquatrainer) provides the clinic team with a broad basis for the optimal care of patients. In addition to over 60 boxes for stationarily cared for horses, we care for a practice area with a radius of approx. 150 km.
Through our broad range of treatments with high case numbers in the areas of surgery, orthopedics, gynecology and internal medicine, we offer professionally interested employees many varied and exciting cases. Our success is based on the high professional competence, the great commitment and the family-like environment of our clinic operation and its employees. We also offer internal further education opportunities and journal club rounds.

Our clinic, founded in 1987 by Dr. Gerweck, has grown over the decades of its existence into one of the largest horse clinics in Europe. More than 100 employees care for our stationary patients and our extensive riding practice around the clock and 365 days a year. We work at the highest medical, technical and personal level.
Thanks to our high case numbers, comprehensive further education opportunities and open and goal-oriented communication in our clinic, we not only provide optimal care for our patients but also create an atmosphere of continuous learning and growth for our employees.
Our veterinary team consists of specialist veterinarians for horses, equine surgery, orthopedics, reproductive medicine and dental medicine. However, our perspective extends beyond the purely medical: regionally unique, the clinic has its own in-house rehabilitation center with qualified employees.
On customer request, we enable the best possible recovery for our patients in close cooperation with the treating veterinarians. Since 2023, we have also been one of the few private clinics in Europe to offer a ECVS residency program in collaboration with the European College of Veterinary Surgeons as the highest possible level of training in equine surgery.
As one of our key quality features, we consider comprehensive and open communication both within our clinic and with our customers and colleagues working outside our clinic. Our goal is to make the information flow from diagnosis to treatment to recovery as transparent and understandable as possible.
