Job Description
Phantom is revolutionizing the crypto ecosystem with a self-custodial wallet enabling seamless connections across multiple blockchains. They are seeking a Senior/Staff Backend Engineer to own and evolve the authentication infrastructure, focusing on security, user experience, and scale. The role involves designing, implementing, and operationalizing a hardened Auth stack with modern secrets management and key management.
Requirements
- 7+ Years of Backend Experience
- Deep expertise in authentication protocols (OAuth2/OIDC, WebAuthn/Passkeys, OTP)
- Web3/Crypto Knowledge (strongly preferred)
- Strong System Design & Architecture Skills
- Leadership & Communication Skills
