Intern – R&D Engineer – Plymouth, MN – Summer 2026

Intern opportunity with Philips in R&D engineering at their site in Plymouth, MN. Gain hands-on experience in engineering at a medical device company, assisting in research and development activities, collaborating with cross-functional team members, and making data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• Completed at least 75% of studies in bachelor’s in mechanical, biomedical engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Desire to understand and communicate how product is used, designed and manufactured and establish test methods to evaluate design concepts.
• Detail oriented, highly organized and be able to communicate information effectively.
• Ability to multitask, take ownership, and collaborate cross functionally with others.
• Experience using SolidWorks, Excel, and Minitab
