Job Description
The Housing Director is responsible for planning and administering all phases of the PRCI Housing Department operations, including operations and maintenance, grant management, housing development, and regulations related to the Housing Department and the Indian Housing Block Grant Program.
Requirements
- Maintaining and organizing department records
- Creating and completing data collection
- Achieving goals and objectives by completion of data collection
- Maintaining effective relationships with office staff, Tribal Members, Housing Boards, and Tribal Council
- Regional work-related travel
- Coordinating activities, grants, and events with tribal, statewide, and federal partners
- Submitting reports and responding to Tribal, local, and state needs for grant information
- Planning, implementing, and evaluating strategies to comply with various housing programs/grants
- Respecting Native American/Native Indian history and culture
- Abiding by PRCI policies, procedures, and structure
