As a Junior Category Manager, you will be responsible for handling operational and administrative tasks, developing market understanding, and implementing inventory management decisions.
Requirements
- Market Understanding: You will develop a deep understanding of your category - based on internal data, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Process Management: You will handle operational and administrative tasks in our daily business - for example, checking products and related data sheets.
- Supplier Contact: You will prepare meetings, accompany negotiations, and learn how to build successful partnerships.
- Data Analysis: You will analyze data, identify patterns, and derive concrete measures for optimization.
- A successfully completed Master's degree, preferably in an economic or analytical field
- First practical experiences in category management, preferably through internships or work-student activities
- Fluent German and English skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as a strong analytical ability and a good sense of complex relationships
- A highly developed ability to self-organize and work independently
- Very developed communication strength in interaction with colleagues, partners, and suppliers
- High learning ability and the ability to quickly become self-sufficient in new topics
