Junior Category Manager (m/w/d)

As a Junior Category Manager, you will be responsible for handling operational and administrative tasks, developing market understanding, and implementing inventory management decisions.

Requirements

• Market Understanding: You will develop a deep understanding of your category - based on internal data, customer feedback, and market trends.
• Process Management: You will handle operational and administrative tasks in our daily business - for example, checking products and related data sheets.
• Supplier Contact: You will prepare meetings, accompany negotiations, and learn how to build successful partnerships.
• Data Analysis: You will analyze data, identify patterns, and derive concrete measures for optimization.
• A successfully completed Master's degree, preferably in an economic or analytical field
• First practical experiences in category management, preferably through internships or work-student activities
• Fluent German and English skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as a strong analytical ability and a good sense of complex relationships
• A highly developed ability to self-organize and work independently
• Very developed communication strength in interaction with colleagues, partners, and suppliers
• High learning ability and the ability to quickly become self-sufficient in new topics
