The Pictsweet Company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join their vegetable processing facility in Bridgeville, DE. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the activities of the Warehouse, Dry Warehouse, and Pallets, including inventory management, receiving of materials, and distribution and shipment of frozen vegetables.
Requirements
- Supervises the daily activities of the Warehouse and Dry Warehouse.
- Ensures the integrity of food safety and quality throughout all phases of warehouse management and distribution.
- Maintains an accurate accounting of inventoried items on a daily basis.
- Supervises routine and annual auditing operations.
- Maintains an accurate and organized inventory system to ensure the rapid and timely delivery.
- Supervises forklift fleet to ensure maximum use with minimum down time.
- Interview, recommend hiring, instruct, train, motivate, direct, evaluate, correct, and administer discipline.
- Follows all Company policies and procedures, which include SOPs, Employee Handbook, Food Quality Policies, GMP Handbook, HARPC, and Pictsweet Safety Procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring and monitoring all quality and food safety systems in place for the production and storage of quality products manufactured under clean, safe, and wholesome conditions.
- Develops SOPs on food safety and food quality for the Warehouse, as needed.
- Ensures a safe work place.
- Assists in both internal and external food safety audits.
- Oversees food safety and personnel safety training.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
