Requirements
- High school diploma, some college preferred
- Completed accredited MOA program, including externship
- Minimum of one-year work experience in public contact job, preferably service related
- Experience in health care or a practice setting
- Maintained Certified Medical Assistant status
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of medical field
- Knowledge of assisting tasks related to particular medical specialty
- Knowledge of information to share with patients and families
