Job Description
Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a skilled Lineman for Overhead Electrical Distribution Systems. The Lineman will work at various locations, potentially traveling to another state, and perform new construction, maintenance, and repair of energized electrical systems. Safety is a top priority, requiring careful attention to safety protocols and the use of appropriate PPE. The position involves leadership in the absence of a Foreman and troubleshooting electrical issues.
Requirements
- 5-year minimum field experience.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) permit preferred (within 60 days of employment).
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within 60 days of employment.
- Able to travel long distances on short notice.
- Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work overtime.
- Willingness to work outside of normal work schedule.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding; requires standing, walking, reaching, and using hands and arms for extended periods.
