Job Description
PIMCO is a leading global asset management firm seeking an experienced Data and AI Architecture Leader to drive strategic data initiatives across the enterprise. This role focuses on designing and implementing a modern data ecosystem, leveraging cloud migration, AI enablement, and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to streamline data processes, improve data quality, and enable more efficient analytical capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture or systems design
- Strong knowledge of data governance, lineage, and metadata management principles
- Proven experience with large-scale data migration projects and cloud transformation
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies
- Experience with financial risk systems and analytics platforms
- Strong technical background in database platforms (Oracle, Snowflake) and understanding of cloud architecture principles (AWS preferred)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
