Men's Inn Stabilization and Crisis Clinician

The Shelter Stabilization and Crisis Clinician assists staff in creating a safe environment for guests and staff, responding to crisis situations, and advocating for appropriate level of care services. The position works directly with guests, shelter staff, and PSI's clinical teams, primarily in the Men’s Inn environment. It requires maintaining a safe shelter environment, de-escalation techniques, and collaboration with PSI departments.

Requirements

• License as LMHC or LICSW or Master’s degree in Social Work or related degree
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the Human Services field
• Knowledge in areas of trauma, addiction, recovery and mental illness
• Demonstrated skills in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention and de-escalation
• Knowledge of issues pertaining to the homeless
• Administering Narcan and CPR in a work setting (preferred)
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Haitian Creole (preferred)
