Job Description
This full-time position within the Applications Engineering Team of a fastener manufacturing leader requires a self-motivated individual to identify new application opportunities and solve customer fastening problems. The role involves design, testing, and coordination of prototypes and production. It’s a supportive role focused on sales and supporting distribution activities.
Requirements
- Third level degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of engineering experience.
- Proficient with Solid Modelling software (Pro/E preferred) and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with engineering tools such as SPC.
- Experience using Business software (ERP systems, JDE preferred).
- Ability to use laboratory testing tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Flexibility in schedule.
- Good communication skills.
