Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Planned Parenthood Great Plains seeks a full-time Certified Medical Assistant in their Oklahoma City Health Center. The CMA will participate in a team approach to patient care and communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds. The role requires preparing patients for examinations, verifying patient information, and supporting patient care delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of a training program for Medical Assistants with certification by AAMA or ARMA (CMA)
• 1-3 year’s work experience in health care, customer service, or medical office required, OB/GYN or family planning preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records systems required; prior working knowledge of Epic system preferred
• Ability to work some Saturdays

Benefits

• 37.5 hour work week
• $20 - $20 an hour
