Advanced Practice Clinician - Reading

Planned Parenthood Keystone is looking for qualified Advanced Practice Clinicians (Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners) to provide health services in the Reading Center. The position is part-time, non-exempt, and requires a reliable means of transportation, successful completion of an accredited NP program, and an active Pennsylvania medical license.

Requirements

• Review and interpret medical histories
• Perform physical examinations and interpret findings
• Comply with state laws governing abortion services and mandatory reporting
• Maintain patient and health center confidentiality
• Serve as primary clinician in the health centers as needed
• Provide relevant health instruction
• Prescribe and provide treatments for specified medical conditions
• Competently use the patient information system software
• Maintain accurate, legible, and succinct records
• Work with center staff to provide follow-up for referrals, medical problems, lab tests, other services
• Maintain current license, professional certification, and CPR/ACLS/PALS certification
• Work collaboratively with the health center team to meet patient needs
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
• Participate in the quality/risk management process
• Serve as technical consultant for in-house lab related activities
• Serve as a clinical lead within the operations of the health center
• Accurately capture services provided in each visit and appropriately code
• Provide on-call services as needed
• Ensure a culture that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion of all persons
• Ensure completion of required annual training
• Adhere to all HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
