WBC Medical Assistant II Float - Los Angeles, CA

Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant II/III to work in their High School Well Being Centers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, and experience in reproductive health and/or primary/managed care. The role involves supporting functions in the delivery of reproductive health care, primary care and surgical services, and working alongside Providers to ensure high quality, efficient delivery of care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in reproductive health and/or primary/managed care
• Medical Assistant diploma/certification
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Knowledge of surgical services
• Reproductive, managed/primary health care and/or abortion services experience desirable
