Job Description
The Electrical Engineer (Assembly Engineer) is responsible for constructing, wiring, and commissioning electronic and electromagnetic systems within the Neutral Atom Quantum Computer (NAQC) system. The role involves assembling, testing, and commissioning complex assemblies, conducting tests, and collaborating with hardware, physics, and software teams. The company is pioneering in the field of quantum computing and offers exciting opportunities to work with cutting-edge technology.
Requirements
- Completed technical training or degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering (e.g., electrician:in, mechatroniker:in, state-certified technician:in)
- Experience in assembling, testing and fault finding of electronic assemblies
- Safe handling of soldering techniques (SMD and THT) and crimp and connection plugs
- Reading and understanding of circuit diagrams and technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of using measuring devices like oscilloscopes, multimeters and power supplies
- Careful, structured and quality-conscious work style
- Good communication skills and teamwork
- C1 level in English and German
- Willingness to take on new tools and methods
