Senior Bioinformatics Scientist

Plasmidsaurus is a biotech company that provides sequencing services to scientists. We're expanding our disruptive model across all of genomics and seeking a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist to join our team. As a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist, you will design, develop, and improve sequence analysis workflows, collaborate with a team of scientists and software engineers, and provide leadership in a fun and creative environment.

Requirements

• PhD in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Physics, or Statistics)
• +5 years of developing production bioinformatics pipelines
• Experience in Bioinformatics, including deep expertise analyzing bulk/single-cell RNAseq data and developing production-level Nextflow bioinformatics pipelines
• Experience with Software Development, including proficiency in Python, Docker, Git, and web development
