OPmobility is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to coordinate the activities of controlled system electric/electronic (E/E) architecture and components on OEM projects. The role involves working closely with project team members, ensuring compliance with specifications, designing components, and contributing to R&D efforts. The position requires a fast-paced, collaborative environment and may involve travel. It's crucial for this engineer to drive projects forward through innovation and problem-solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (electromechanical, or electrical)
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in automotive industry
- Experience in Electronic Control units and/or On-board diagnostics
- Knowledge of OBDI, OBDII & EOBD, requirements
- Experience with CANanalyzer and CANOPE, and UNICAN data loggers
- DIADEM knowledge is a plus
- Use of DOORS, Vector/Etas tools is a plus
- DVP&R, DFMEA and BOM knowledge is required
- High level of communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project coordination, communication and customer management skills
- Good practical knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in a matrix, multicultural and fast evolving environment
- Travel up to 10% domestic and international
