Job Description
Platform Science is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PHP (Laravel), Node.js, and cloud-native (AWS/Azure) development and will be instrumental in architecting, designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and high-performance software for high-velocity fleet management solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years in senior technical or leadership roles
- Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel framework
- Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript (or JavaScript)
- Expertise in event-driven integration patterns using Kafka, RabbitMQ, and AWS SQS
- Strong database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with testing frameworks including PHPUnit, Codeception, Jest, and Mocha
