Job Description
PlayOn is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on their Ticketing team to build scalable backend systems for live event access across high schools and youth sports. This role involves designing and delivering APIs and microservices that handle millions of tickets annually and integrate with other PlayOn products, ensuring reliable and efficient operations. The company focuses on empowering schools with innovative solutions and exceptional service.
Requirements
- Design, implement, and operate APIs and microservices
- Integrate with Stripe for secure payments
- Contribute to architectural decisions
- Mentor other engineers
- Mentor 3–4 full-time engineers and several contractors
