Engineering Manager

Playstudios Europe is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead cross-disciplinary teams and drive technical strategy and execution for all games in the domain. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, solid experience in the mobile gaming industry, and hands-on development background in client and/or backend systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid experience in the mobile gaming industry, with a track record of contributing to and shipping high-quality games.
• Hands-on development background in client (Unity or similar) and/or backend systems — ideally across the full feature lifecycle.
• Experience managing or mentoring engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of scalable architecture, technical pipelines, and release processes in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with high proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment and drive clarity where needed.
