This role will involve writing press releases, talking points, and client presentations, alongside project management and stakeholder liaison. They aim to distill complex policy issues into easily digestible messaging.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in public affairs or communications, ideally in an agency or Texas Legislature setting.
- Proven experience in writing and editing materials and working with the press.
- Strong understanding of AP Style.
- Interest in public affairs and policy issues, and ability to synthesize technical content.
- Understanding of the communications landscape and various channels (digital, print, social, broadcast).
