Job Description
The Safety Specialist role involves consulting and supporting managers and employees on occupational safety and health, contributing to the improvement of HSE management systems, and conducting internal audits and site inspections. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, Safety Specialist qualification, and experience in occupational safety with knowledge of HSE management systems.
Requirements
- Completed training as a technician, master craftsman, or engineer (technical field)
- Qualification as a Safety Specialist (according to DGUV Regulation 2 BGHM)
- Several years of experience in occupational safety, ideally with knowledge of HSE management systems
- Training as an internal auditor (ISO 45001) is an advantage
- Very good German and English skills in word and writing
- Team-oriented, committed, structured – with willingness to travel and a Class B driver's license
