Job Description
Point72 is seeking a Sector Analyst to provide industry context and business fundamentals to their data scientists and engineers. This role involves partnering with Investment Professionals and Compliance teams to uncover insights about companies and the economy through research and data analysis. The internship program offers hands-on experience, exposure to the firm's investment process, and opportunities for collaboration with a diverse team. Interns will focus on key themes and KPIs within their chosen sectors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree with demonstrable academic success
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and project management skills
- Proficiency with Excel and/or data processing/programming (SQL or Python preferred)
