Job Description
Point72 is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support its cloud infrastructure and development processes. This role involves cloud configuration, automation, troubleshooting, and security control. Requirements
- Support cloud engineers by fulfilling requests for cloud configuration changes.
- Assist in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) automation using Terraform.
- Troubleshoot problems involving connectivity between on-premise and the cloud, IAM access and other cloud services.
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve system observability, reliability, and performance through comprehensive monitoring and automated incident response.
- Provide cloud solutions architecture review/guidance to clients and build reference implementations
- Implement cost optimization strategies and governance controls across our cloud environments
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain cloud security controls and respond to security incidents
