POLARIS Raumflugzeuge GmbH is seeking an Embedded Avionics Developer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing embedded avionics software and sensor drivers, working with microprocessors and integrating PX4 modules.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, or Embedded Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in embedded or avionics software development
- Strong experience with C/C++, real-time systems, and low-level driver development
- Experience with NuttX, Linux, PX4, and embedded debugging tools
- Knowledge of DO 178C, DO 254, ISO 26262, and SIL processes
- Familiarity with avionics communication standards (ARINC 429/664/AFDX, CAN Aerospace)
- Experience with DOORS/Polarion, EA/UML/SysML, and scripting (Python/PowerShell)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with flight simulation environments and navigation systems
- Scripting (Python/PowerShell) for automation
