Rocket Engine Fluid System Design Engineer (m/f/d)

POLARIS Raumflugzeuge GmbH develops innovative transportation systems for payloads and passengers, looking for a Rocket Engine Fluid System Design Engineer to join their team.

Requirements

• Degree in Space Engineering, Aerospace Engineering (M.Sc.) or similar
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience
• Profound experience in the design and development of fluid systems, ideally in aerospace, space, high-pressure or cryogenic applications
• Profound understanding of the rocket engine design process and its subsystems
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and overall fluid system behavior
• Experience with 0D/1D simulation and analysis of fluid systems, including steady-state and transient behavior
• Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and team-working skills
• Proficiency in both German and English
